Dordabisis a small town 90kmsouth east of Windhoek. With the current negative economic climate this small community of about 1700 people are really struggling. The cold winter nights are also contributing to this struggle, especially affecting the elderly and the children.
As part of the annual Round Table Namibia Winter Knights campaign, Round Table Windhoek 34 decided to reach out to the Dordabis Community and make a difference.
On Friday 15 June 2018, a much-needed donation of 240 blankets, 56 towels, 20 bedsheets, 48 ltr juice, 40kg maize meal and 120kg rice was donated to the community by Round Table Windhoek 34. The value of the donation amounts to N$16500.
The Chairman of Round Table Windhoek 34, Mr Frikkie Engels together with his son Christiaan handed over the contribution to Mr Ruben Ilongo, Head Supervisor of the Dordabis Clinic.
Over and out, and on our way to the next hand over!
